So what is beauty? Is there a standard?
I think there is, but perception differs.
What one person reguards as beautiful,
I look upon with nothing but contempt.

There is someone I love beyond reason.
When I look into her warm, loving eyes,
I see nothing but wonderous beauty.
Her preasence causes me to trip and fall.

Perhaps there is a standard. Perhaps not.
Can't say. But I know beauty when I see it.
Does beauty create love, or vice versa?
I just don't know. But I do see beauty.

She can't seem to see it, but in my eyes
She is beauty's personification.

Shakespeare was relly good at this, you know.
Iambic pentameter is tough. Dang.

I wrote this in iambic pentameter, like shakespeare. This is stinkin tough. But it's not so bad, I hope. So tell me what you think.

By the way, I'm realy sick right now, and I was when I wrote it too, so I make no guarentees.

Wow, you liked it, huh? I had to reread it. I must be missing something. I did spend a long time. I'll keep working. I am certainly open to suggestions.

Hey! not too bad. I'm not big on shakespeare poetry myself but your use of the stle is very good. I like it I can tell it is heartfelt and is fairly well written. Nice work.

Best work yet, but that's my opinion. Great pic, pitty about the right side though. Whose the model? ;)

I don't know much about poetry, I'm more of a prose person myself; but I find this to be a very well thought out piece. Your words are clear and to the point.

Well done.
